Can i donate to a School in Kenya that isnt a registered charity?

Some colleagues of mine have recently travelled to a school in Kenya as part of a team building course, and the results were fantastic and they really had a great time. We would like to set up an awareness website for the school but also have the option to make a donation to the school, is this possible if they are not a registered charity?
