What is the cheapest way of permanently parking my car in London?

I'm moving to London from Germany, and would ideally like to take my car with me, since I just registered it for another two years. It would help to carry all my belongings (including a substantial library) to London, as well as give me the opportunity to see some more of the UK. The car is old though, a 1991 Suzuki Swift, and steers on the left. Any ideas?
