Why do men cheat, the want to stay in a commited relationship?

If a man cheats on his wife whom he has a child with. Why do they tend to want to stay in the marriage? I mean if you cheat on your partner its obvious your looking for something else in someone else right? So why stay in a marriage or relationship if your looking for booty elsewhere?
