How DO You Know If A Guy Really Likes You Or If He Is Just BSing You ?

SO I been seeing a guy for about a year now and the second time we talked he told me that he was feeling me and that he thought he was falling in love with me . I told him that I liked him too and then we just kept talking but he does work alot well maybe I just think he does because Im use to men that are more available. Anyway I dont see him that much but he does call and text me every other day. I told him Im not sure about a relationship right now but I was willing to give it a try. He knows that I still had feelings for my ex but I told him I think Im ready to move on but I feel like he is not ready for a commited relationship either. We dont live that far apart but he works long hours and I sometimes think he's seeing someone at work.Sometimes he will tell me his friend is coming over to watch sports ? but I have yet to meet his friends or know if in fact it was a friend. Sometimes he doesnt even call or text me on fridays he will do that on thursday and if I dont here from him friday I wont call him because I'll assume he's busy so I dont want to look like im a fiend or become a bug a boo or look like psycho stalker. I hate to feel like Im chasing after anyone.Ok so if I dont hear from him on friday he usually text me on saturday being extra nice. I also know that he has a high sex drive and sometimes I feel like he's bored with me because Im not open or as freaky as he would like me to be because Im still alittle shy with him and Im scared that I will fall for him and he will hurt me. He tells me that he really wants to be with me when we are together.He looks into my eyes but I dont truly trust him. On top of that he is a little older than me , he claims that he is not like the other men , the lying cheating men but I met him last year and we only are really getting to know each other now. He says he will treat me better than my current ex but I see things that tell me other wise .Like the fact that I think he has two phones and thats pretty much his business because we are not married or anything but I feel like he could be hiding something ? sometimes he gets text and he just looks at the phone and I been there before Im not stupid but Im still not sure what to make of it maybe Im just being insecure or assuming things but theres been times when I didnt see him for 2 weeks and if I cant see him he would be mad at me but I know he has a high sex drive and he is a man .When we met he told me was seeing other women before we met but he never said if he stopped seeing them. I just told him that since we dont use condoms that if he ***** other women that he should be honest or just wear a condom with me because I dont want to chance getting a std or something and he never really says anything about it so Im hoping he is not lying about who he is or what he does because he doesnt use one with me so that makes me think he wouldnt use it with someone else plus I know he doesnt like them .He just simply said I love myself but Im thinking he wont wear one with me if he did because then I would know he ****** someone else which wouldnt get me mad as long as he doesnt lie about it or hide it because we dont have history together and not even in love yet as far as I know thats why I need a opinion before I invest more time and get my heart broken.I just want to know what everyone else thinks so I would appreciate if the men could tell me if you think he is BSing me because men that did it before know if a guy is a liar .Also women tell me what you think , should I believe him or should I stay away ? I would think it would be stupid for him to think he can fool me when I have been there before . I also want to know why do men lie and want to keep you around for so long if they are going to cheat and possibly dump you after ?
