Does he love me or not???????????

A guy approached me, got my number we messaged and i liked him well.He was my neighbour..We used to meet regularly..Actually he tries to impress me... First time he asked me out and rest time i asked him(its to nearby place for coffee)...But if i ask he says i am just a friend..Tries to makes me jealous by speaking about other girls and he pretty sure knows that..If i ask whether is he commited or have any gf he doesnt answer me..And i didnt show interest in him as before....Then he called me often and spoke...Always urges me to share a bike ride with him..From my point of view he flirts with me..He was very keen on dating me but doesnt ask that directly..We went out for a date to movie..He asked me whether i liked being with him..Suddenly he had to leave out of country for a job.. I was heart broke and asked him indirectly..He said just friends as he usually says.. I am very confused..He left out of country.. He contacted me sometimes but its now been abt 5 months no calls.. but suddenly he is trying to contact me now.. what to do.. what should i speak exactly.. need help.. thanks in advance..
